Vampire Weekend: Someone Please Tell Me if They’re Good

Vampire Weekend’s release of new music has stirred an odd debate in music subculture. Those who generally agree on most topics are now split. Those who hate all popular music and those loving everything from ten years ago were at the front lines and said their piece. But now those with a general love for music are at lost for a definite answer. If you do love them, or are searching for an answer, they are beginning their America tour now.

Daughters is on Tour. I Guess I didn’t need my hearing anyways.

It only takes listening to “Recorded in a Pyramid” to understand the aggressive side of the band Daughters. Their still rock-formatted songs are filled with ear-splitting drums, aggressive guitar attacks for melody and a crazed voice.

The band is touring with their album released last October, titled You Won’t Get What You Want. The album is still as strong as the rest of their discography and is expected to put on a show. They are coming to The Sinclair on Tuesday March 12th. Definitely worth a ticket (and of course some earplugs, as well!).

Maroon 5 Rocks the Super Bowl

The 2019 Super Bowl saw the Patriots dominate the Rams, but it also saw the domination of pop music during its halftime show. The band Maroon 5 performed a medley of their biggest hits, both old and new, while also including appearances from Travis Scott and Big Boi. The band also gave a tribute to the late creator of the children’s show Spongebob with a quick snippet of a clip from the show.
